Story Book Ranch and Bunk House

Story Book Ranch and Bunkhouse is centrally located in the heart of Geauga County, Ohio.  The property is hosted by Chardon, Ohio's own "Christmas Tree Lady" Paula Horbay. 

 The all new bunk house is a separate building from Paula's ranch.  It offers 2 one bedroom suites with separate private baths and whirlpool tub.  The bunk house is professionally decorated and includes an electric fireplace, solid cherry mantle with bark corbels, internet service, cable and flat screen tv.  The bunk house also offers private laundry with full size washer and dryer, microwave, dishes, linens (300 count or better) that abound a new firm but comfy, amish made queen size bed.

The bunk house was designed with picturesque windows all around the building which capture the serenity of the natural setting.  Guests can enjoy the country pleasures of bird watching, grazing deer and nibbling bunnies. 

Activities on site and nearby include:  romantic walks down the path , and just minutes to town to enjoy fine dining of Italian, Mexican, and Game Keeper's cuisine.  Geauga County boasts the finest golf courses in Ohio within minutes away.  Geauga County also has the largest and the most equestrian farms in the state, including the polo fields or western roping, cutting, and the Lake Erie College Equestrian Center, all within 10 minutes from the bunkhouse. 

 Offsite activities include the Spring Maple Festival, The Great Geauga County Fair in the Fall (Labor Day Weekend), Winter Skiing at several nearby resorts, including Alpine Valley, Cleveland Ski Club, and Cross Country Skiing at the Holden Arboretum and local parks.  Summer activities include Lake Erie boating and fishing, Pioneer Water Park (2 miles away), Geauga Lake, Cedar Point and lots of Parks and Wineries (Debonne, Great Lakes and Ferrante's).
